【GRAND OPENING】’Yoinotake’ – Traditional Machiya Holiday House in Kyoto, Japan

AJ INTERBRIDGE INC.’s newest machiya accommodation falls under our private machiya holiday house (vacation rental) brand, MACHIYA RESIDENCE INN, and will open in Kyoto this month on the 23rd. ‘Yoinotake machiya house’ is a renovated traditional Japanese townhouse (machiya), located in the historical area of Higashiyama and within walking distance to some of Kyoto’s most famous sightseeing attractions.

Inspired by the picturesque bamboo groves and beautiful karesansui rock gardens of Kyoto’s temples and shrines, ‘Yoinotake’ incorporates these delicate motifs into its striking architecture and design.

Step through the entrance into a spacious dining room, and be greeted with a perfect view of the karesansui garden. Guests will find two quintessentially Japanese-style rooms, a modern kitchen, and luxurious bathroom on the 1F. The spacious western-style bedroom occupies the entire 2F, and features high ceilings, wooden beams, and two double beds.
