Our newest Kyoto machiya house「Gion Shirakawa Kouki」 has opened in the historical neighborhood of Gion.

From the azure washbasins, blue washi walls in the bedroom, a stunning river mural, to the custom lighting made of materials from Kamogawa’s riverside restaurants — discover elements of the river as you explore Gion Shirakawa Kouki.

This machiya house offers three bedrooms, one full bathroom, one shower room, and a large dining room.

A 15 minute walk will lead you towards Kiyomizu Temple and Yasaka Shrine. Cross the Kamogawa River, and head towards the bustling Shijo-Kawaramachi area and Ponto-cho district for shopping and dining.
